Silk Machine Tolsa Mill

Destec Engineering carried out the on-site machining refurbishment of a roller pendulum mill. The drive gearbox had been fretting causing damage to the bore, top and bottom faces. Our bore mounted machine was set concentric to the 1m bore to maintain shaft alignment and square to the bottom face where the gearbox locates. Destec machined the back face and front face to ensure parallelism to each other and machined the damage out of the bore to bring that back into concentricity.
